2014 Nobel Peace Prize[10/10/2014]
The Nobel Peace Prize 2014 was awarded jointly
to Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzay "for their
struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right
of all children to education".
2014 Nobel Prize in Literature[10/10/2014]The Nobel Prize in
Literature 2014 was awarded to Patrick Modiano "for the art of memory with
which he has evoked the most ungraspable human destinies and uncovered the
life-world of the occupation".
Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2014[09/10/2014]Americans Eric
Betzig and William Moerner and German scientist Stefan W.
Hell won the Nobel Prize in chemistry for developing new methods that let
microscopes see finer details than they could before.
Nobel prize for Medicine and Physics[07/10/2014]Isamu Akasaki
(Japan), Hiroshi Amano (Japan), Shuji Nakamura (Japan) won the Nobel prize
in Physics for the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes which
has enabled bright and energy-saving white light sources.
John O´Keefe(UK), May-Britt Moser and Edvard I. Moser
(Norway) won the Nobel prize in Medicine for their discoveries of
cells that constitute a positioning system in the brain.
Nobel prize for Economics: [13/10/2014]French economist Jean Tirole on thirteen Oct 2014 won the 2014 Nobel Prize for economics. Jean Tirole was awarded for his analysis of market power and regulation. The award will be bestowed to him on ten December 2014 which marks the death anniversary of prize founder Alfred Bernhard Nobel.
